    I am interested in Yoga but feeling conflicted as I realize that I want to practice for a lot of bad reasons (to look good, have a cool new identity, master complex moves, avoid emotional and physical pain, etc…)

    It was very reassuring to read this post and realize that probably a lot of people start for similar reasons and that the practice itself might nudge us into more interesting directions with time.
